Premium Velocity Auto (PVA) / Jiffy Lube is hiring an Assistant General Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced automotive retail environment.

You will support the General Manager, manage inventory and guest satisfaction, and ensure safety and compliance while upholding J Team Service Standards. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with a track record in retail or service leadership.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail management experience or similar leadership role.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Basic math skills (percentages, totals, discounts).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Physical ability to stand long periods and lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the store and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Oversee cash handling and POS procedures.
• Assist with inventory ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and schedule team members.
• Model J Team Service Standards while performing services.
• Create a positive guest experience and resolve issues professionally.
• Ensure Environmental, Health & Safety compliance.
• Take ownership of operations when the GM is away.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Opening/closing the store & maintaining a clean, safe, operationally excellent environment
• Overseeing cash handling and POS procedures
• Helping manageinventory ordering, receiving, and tracking
• Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling team members
• Leading by example usingJ Team Service Standardswhile performing lube services
• Creating a positive guest experience & resolving concerns with professionalism
• EnsuringEnvironmental, Health & Safety compliance
• Taking full ownership of operations when the GM is away

Requirements (What You Bring)

• Valid driver's license
• At least1 year of retail management experience(Automotive, Fast Food, Retail, etc.)
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Clear communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to confidently use computers, internet tools, and complete required forms
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs., bend, reach, climb, etc.
• Comfortable working in enclosed or semi‑outdoor environments
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
