Taco Bell in Simpsonville, SC seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations in the GM's absence and uphold brand standards. You will train, coach, and recognize the team to deliver outstanding guest experiences while managing 50-hour weeks (40 regular, 10 overtime).

In this role you will collaborate with the GM on performance, hiring, and operational excellence, ensuring food safety and employee development across the restaurant.

Assistant General Manager

About the Job:

As an Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our restaurant's success, supporting the Restaurant General Manager by upholding brand standards and inspiring your team. You'll lead by example, training, coaching, and recognizing your team to deliver unforgettable customer experiences. When your team shines, so do you! In this dynamic role, you'll take charge of daily operations in the Restaurant General Manager's absence, making key decisions and driving the team toward excellence. You'll work a 50-hour week, with 40 hours at regular pay and 10 hours at time and a half, providing a balanced and rewarding work experience.

The Day-to-Day:

• Ensure consistent customer satisfaction by effectively modeling the MIC Success Routine and prioritizing customer needs.
• Oversee Team Members' adherence to Shift Excellence responsibilities, maintain high food safety standards, and uphold Core excellence. Take charge of restaurant operations in the GM's absence.
• Collaborate with the GM in assessing team performance, providing ongoing constructive and positive feedback. Address employee relations issues as they arise, determine immediate resolutions, or elevate to the GM when necessary.
• Assist in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and hiring Team Members, while driving a culture of equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Act like an owner by assisting with Profit & Loss management, including cash control, security procedures, inventory maintenance, and labor management.
• Review financial reports and take appropriate actions to optimize performance.
• Support the GM in facility maintenance and ensure health and safety standards are consistently followed.

The range for this role is $52,000-65,000/year. Compensation may vary based on geographic location and experience.
