Job summary

Wingstop in Shirley, NY is seeking an energetic Assistant General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support the General Manager in leading a high-performing team. The AGM drives profitability, delivers exceptional guest experiences, and upholds Wingstop’s standards of excellence in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time role requires inspiring leadership, hands-on coaching, and a focus on food safety, quality, and service.

Qualifications

• Lead and supervise daily Front of House and Back of House operations
• Act as shift lead in the absence of the General Manager
• Support team development through training, coaching, performance feedback, and motivation
• Deliver top-tier guest service and address guest concerns promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and company food safety, health, and sanitation standards (including maintaining an “A” health rating)
• Monitor and maintain product quality, speed of service, and cleanliness standards
• Assist in labor scheduling, inventory management, ordering, and cost control
• Follow and enforce all cash handling and security procedures
• Help manage Food and Labor Costs in line with company targets
• Oversee facility maintenance and cleanliness through preventative programs
• Train to build the leadership skills necessary for promotion to General Manager
• Perform operational duties including register use, taking orders, and food preparation as needed
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or District Manager
