Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning in Scarborough, ME seeks an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in directing service center activities and leading teams across Sales, Maintenance and Installation.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in the HVAC industry with supervisory experience, plus strong customer service, communication and troubleshooting skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

• 5+ years HVAC industry experience including sales, installation and service.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implements organizational policies and goals in conjunction with the General Manager.
• Coordinates activities of service departments like Sales, Maintenance, Installation to drive operational efficiency.
• Assists with leading a successful Sales Team.
• Assists with budget analysis and setting profitability goals.
• Helps ensure payroll processes are accurate and on time.
• Trains and monitors Customer Service Specialists on booking rates, call volumes and service levels.
• Manages dispatchers and technician scheduling to maximize call volume/capacity.
• Ensures Health, Safety and Environmental processes are followed.
• Supports the General Manager on sales goal planning and tracking.
• Helps develop ongoing performance feedback and counseling for employees.
• Adheres to HR standards and guidelines on reviews, counsel and discipline.
