Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including food, beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs
  • Assist the General Manager in ensuring that all financial (invoices, reporting) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Investigate and respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests
  • Manage shifts, including daily decision-making, scheduling, and planning, while ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service
  • Provide direction to employees regarding operations and procedural issues, develop employees through ongoing feedback, establish performance expectations, and conduct performance reviews

Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years of senior-level management experience in an upscale or fine dining establishment
  • Extensive front-of-house knowledge; advanced knowledge of financial aspects
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Stable and progressive work history with a strong work ethic
