Job summary

UNIS is seeking an Assistant General Manager to bridge strategic leadership and day-to-day operations in a dynamic logistics environment. The AGM will partner with the General Manager to drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and growth by leveraging technology and aligned processes.

You will lead cross-functional teams, influence budgeting, and monitor performance metrics, delivering value-added supply chain solutions for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operational management, preferably in logistics.
• Proven leadership experience in hiring, training, and performance management.
• Proven expertise in operational efficiency improvement, budgeting, and analysis of key business performance metrics.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily organizational operations by managing resources, streamlining workflows, and ensuring alignment with corporate priorities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Lead and mentor cross-departmental teams through effective hiring, training, performance management, and resource planning, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience by addressing client inquiries, resolving escalated issues promptly, and upholding UNIS' commitment to service excellence.
• Collaborate in budget planning, monitor financial performance, identify cost optimization opportunities, and recommend strategic adjustments to meet profitability goals.

• 4. Proven expertise in operational efficiency improvement, financial budgeting, and analysis of key business performance metrics.


• 5. Strong knowledge of logistics operations and compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or similar logistics and supply chain technologies.


• Proven track record in implementing process optimization strategies that resulted in measurable business growth.


• Familiarity with data analytics tools to evaluate performance trends and operational improvements.


• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
