Job summary

Church's Chicken in Decatur, GA seeks a restaurant leader to coach and develop Team Members on shift, ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

You will monitor service quality, uphold safety and policies, and guide staff toward operational excellence while managing labor costs and reporting.

You will oversee opening and closing duties, train and counsel employees, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment while ensuring on-time attendance for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of valid insurance.
• Able to work 40–50 hours per week including weekends.
• Knowledge of restaurant policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of labor cost reporting, profit and loss statements, operating statements, and other business-related reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to develop employees through training and counseling.
• Ability to manage conflict resolution and create a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and ensures prompt, friendly, and courteous customer service.
• Monitors and ensures all Church's menu products are prepared and served according to standard procedures.
• Ensures that prepared job assignments and activities are carried out by Team Members.
• Assists Team Members as necessary to prepare quality products, provide service, and maintain a clean restaurant.
• Demonstrates proper procedures for Team Members to follow.
• Ensures that safety and security policies and procedures are enforced.
• Monitors and performs opening and closing duties as required on the Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Follows and ensures the use of proper product procedures for the preparation of all menu items.
• Follows procedures for receiving, handling, and storage of food products. Follows proper rotation and icing procedures.
• Always maintains professional and ethical leadership behaviors.
• Ensures on-time attendance by each employee for their shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
