City BBQ is seeking an Assistant General Manager for our Indianapolis team. The role leads the restaurant to achieve growth in sales, profits, operations, and people practices within a fast-paced, scratch-kitchen environment.
The ideal candidate has prior GM experience in quick casual or casual concepts, a proven coaching record, and a commitment to City Map values, guest relationships, and community involvement.
City BBQ started in Columbus, OH in 1999 and we have grown to 80 locations in 12 states. We have 7 joints in the Indianapolis market and will be adding another in the early part of 2027. This new AGM will be placed in one of our northside joints - Carmel, Fishers, Whitestown, or the new joint.
Our quick casual BBQ concept is recognized as one of the fastest in the industry and we have won awards for our BBQ in markets all over the country. In addition, City BBQ has been chosen by Columbus, Inc as a Top Employer in the city. The search is now on for an Assistant General Manager to join our team in Indianapolis. We have restaurants in Avon, Greenwood, IUPUI, Fishers, Carmel, Castleton, and Whitestown. This person should have the key traits listed above. They should also have previous GM experience in a quick casual or casual theme concept. City BBQ is a scratch kitchen operation and experience in a high-volume, the scratch kitchen is also vitally important.
He/she helps to lead the restaurant team to achieve personal and company growth in sales, profits, operations & quality standards, and people practices.
