Job summary

TruFit Athletic Clubs in Bryan, TX is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations and drive member growth at our fast-growing club. You will supervise sales initiatives, coach the team, ensure policy compliance, and deliver exceptional service to members while supporting the General Manager across multiple location initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum prior sales experience required.
• Flexible hours availability required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales leads and close new memberships.
• Coach and develop the sales team for performance.
• Maintain and monitor member referral programs and outreach.
• Assist in club operations and policy compliance.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue goals.
• Support General Manager with team leadership and tasks.
• Ensure high-quality member interactions and service standards.
• Track performance using company systems and reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate sales leads through member referrals, networking, public demonstrations, and phone outreach.
• Maintain and manage systems for tracking and nurturing prospective leads.
• Promote and sell ancillary services, including personal training and supplements.
• Develop the sales team’s skills and effectiveness through training and coaching.
• Support the General Manager in ensuring team adherence to company policies and sales procedures.
• Motivate and track sales staff performance to meet or exceed targets using company systems.
• Achieve or exceed individual and club sales goals consistently.
• Assist with club operations and management tasks as directed by leadership.
