Qualifications

• ServSafe Manager certification or willing to obtain within 30 days.
• Comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced service.
• Calm under pressure, organized, accountable, and clear communicator.
• You are seeking to grow into a General Manager role.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead PM service as the manager on duty during dinner rush and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Close the restaurant to standard: checklist, cash handling, cleanliness, and morning prep.
• Coach and develop the team, hire, train, and onboard new staff.
• Manage labor in real time, adjust staffing to volume, and help build weekly schedules in 7shifts.
• Drive cost control through portioning, waste tracking, inventory counts and ordering.
• Help build and improve the systems behind the scenes for growth.
• Be present with guests, handle issues quickly and professionally, protect the 4.5+ Google rating.

The Station is a window-service smashburger spot on Russell Street, built on two things: great food

and real hospitality. Our menu is simple, delicious, and versatile, with options for everyone at the

table. First visit or fiftieth, we want people to walk away from our window feeling like regulars.

Now we're looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead what comes next.

THE ROLE

• Full-time Assistant General Manager, mostly PM shifts (afternoon through close)
• Weekend availability required
• Second in command, working side by side with the General Manager
• You'll own our evenings: the dinner rush, the close, and the team that makes it happen

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead PM service as the manager on duty: be a strong, visible leader during the dinner rush and run clean shift transitions
• Close the restaurant to standard: checklist, cash, cleanliness, and setting up the morning team for success
• Coach and develop the team, hold people accountable, and help hire, train and onboard new staff
• Manage labor in real time, adjust staffing to volume, and help build weekly schedules in 7shifts
• Drive cost control through portioning, waste tracking, inventory counts and ordering
• Help build and improve the systems behind the scenes so a young restaurant grows the right way
• Be present with guests, handle issues quickly and professionally, and help protect our 4.5+ Google rating

WHO YOU ARE

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience required (AGM, restaurant manager, or similar)
• ServSafe Manager certification, or willing to get it within 30 days
• Comfortable in high-volume, fast-paced service
• Calm under pressure, organized, accountable, and a clear communicator
• You care about details, step in without being asked, and take ownership because that's how you work
• You're seeking to grow into a General Manager role
• Spanish speaking is a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $75,000–$80,000/year, depending on experience
