Honeywell is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to lead sanctions and AML compliance for the company, reporting to the Vice President and General Counsel, Regulatory. The role focuses on OFAC and other U.S.

sanctions, advising on business strategy, and supporting global product portfolios with a hybrid work model from Washington, DC or Charlotte, NC. You will collaborate with Export, AML, and CFIUS teams, lead trainings, audits, and investigations, and work closely with outside counsel and

JD required, with U.S. sanctions/AML compliance experience preferred.
Significant trade regulation and sanctions knowledge.
Strong communication and ethics in a global company.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage sanctions and AML risks to enable sustainable growth.
Advise on higher-risk transactions and licenses for sanctions compliance.
Enhance trade controls and screening protocols to meet regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on trade laws and regulatory announcements and advise the business.
Lead and collaborate with project teams, vendors, and outside counsel.
Assist in audits and risk assessments to identify improvements.
