The Assistant General Counsel-Corporate Law is responsible for providing comprehensive legal support to the organization. This includes contract negotiations, corporate governance, corporate structure, regulatory compliance and M&A support. This role requires a team player with a practical commercial approach to risk management, a strong work ethic, and a desire to lead a broad spectrum of legal projects. This position also requires a desire to work on a variety of other legal projects including process optimization, template governance, M&A integration, internal policy development, regulatory and due diligence, legal technology implementation and management, and other strategic initiatives. This role develops negotiation strategies with internal business partners, evaluates risk exposure, and makes recommendations to business partners. This is a remote position- open to candidates anywhere in the US.
Expert knowledge of commercial contract law, procurement agreements, supplier contracts, bid processes including public procurement compliance, and distribution arrangements.
