POSITION SUMMARY:
Cencora, Inc. (NYSE: COR) is seeking an attorney to join its Legal Department as Assistant General Counsel - Corporate and M&A. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal skills with the ability to provide effective, business-oriented legal services, project management, and strategic counsel on significant M&A and other strategic transactions across Cencora's global organization.
This role involves supporting global M&A and strategic transactions, including joint ventures and minority investments, and assisting the Corporate Development team throughout the deal process. The candidate will also contribute to developing templates and playbooks for M&A deals and related strategic transactions. The position reports to Cencora's Vice President & Associate General Counsel - M&A.
The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited law school, admitted to the state bar, with a minimum of 9 years of experience as a corporate attorney with expertise in M&A. The role is comparable to a counsel or non-equity partner level, capable of handling sophisticated work independently and supervising others.

Salary Range*: $152,500 - $235,180 (varies based on location and other factors)
