Job summary

Team Car Care, LLC seeks an Assistant General Counsel in Irving, TX to partner with the General Counsel on a broad, hands-on legal role across a large, multi-state retail franchise network. The AGC will draft, negotiate, investigate, and resolve matters, supporting growth while reducing risk in areas like commercial contracting, employment/labor matters, and litigation management.

Hybrid-friendly, not remote; corporate office in the Dallas–Fort Worth area (Las Colinas–Irving).

Qualifications

• Juris doctorate from ABA‑approved law school.
• US bar license in good standing in at least one state.
• Experience in a PE‑backed environment is helpful.
• 5+ years of experience with at least 2 in-house.
• Experience in at least one of: commercial contracting, employment/labor law, or dispute/litigation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, investigate, and resolve matters.
• Support GC in governance, risk, and compliance; interact with other departments.
