Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation seeks an Assistant General Counsel to support the General Counsel in protecting the organization's legal interests and assuring regulatory compliance. You will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements and advise on risk and strategy.
The role requires a JD and 5–7 years in healthcare or tissue banking, with strong communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently while guiding business units.
The Assistant General Counsel will provide support to the General Counsel in protecting the organization's legal interests. The Assistant General Counsel identifies and analyzes legal issues, drafts key documents, presents clear recommendations and assures legal compliance. This position will be responsible for reviewing, editing drafting, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements including but not limited to sponsored research agreements, development agreements, distribution agreements, commercial supply/vendor agreements, software and other commercial licensing agreements. This position may also be responsible for assisting in compliance matters and corporate governance issues.
Salary $182K to $200K
