Moffitt is seeking an Assistant General Counsel I to provide legal counsel on business transactions and contracting, including software, cloud, SAAS, and other technology agreements, within a health care enterprise.

The role requires Florida licensure and 6+ years of contracting experience, with strong negotiation, drafting, and writing skills; experience supervising paralegals preferred. This position is hybrid/part-time in-office in the Tampa area.

Competenze

• Juris Doctor licensed to practice in Florida with 6+ years of law and contracting experience.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting and writing skills are required.
• Excellent organization, problem-solving ability and ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.
• Experience supervising paralegals and support staff is preferred.

Mansioni

• Draft and negotiate software, cloud, SAAS, and other technology contracts.
• Advise on data privacy, cybersecurity, data management, licensing, AI and emerging tech issues.
• Lead complex transactions with healthcare/biotech partners and academic medical centers.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and advise on applicable laws and policies; assist with policy development.
