What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Draft standard legal forms and assist with firm employment issues
- Provide legal guidance on compliance matters and analyze complex legal problems
- Review and draft transactional contracts, assisting in negotiations as needed
- Support the General Counsel in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters
- Conduct internal compliance audits and develop compliance programs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- JD from an accredited law school
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in labor and employment law
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment laws
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience working within a General Counsel office
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ethical rules and regulations in the legal field
