Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC. in Boston seeks an Assistant Fund Controller to join its in-office finance team supporting a multi-strategy platform. You will oversee fund NAVs, financial statements, investor reporting, audits, and regulatory filings across existing and new funds.

The role partners with Investment and Client Relations teams, supports treasury and budgeting, and leads operational execution for new fund launches while driving improvements across fund operations and the operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA highly preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in private markets finance/operations, fund accounting, or a related function.
• Experience with open-ended funds and/or alternative investment strategies.
• Strong partnership accounting and technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience overseeing third‑party administrators and/or fund audits.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.

• Lead operational execution for new fund and product launches
• Identify and implement improvements to fund operations and the broader operating model
• Serve as a key point of contact across internal and external stakeholders

A leading alternative asset manager is seeking an Assistant Fund Controller to join its Boston-based finance team. This is an in-office role supporting a diverse platform spanning multi-strategy investments.

The Assistant Fund Controller will oversee fund control and operations across existing and new funds with significant exposure to senior investment, client relations, operations, and compliance teams.
