Job description

We are hiring an Assistant Front Office Hourly Manager.

We are looking for associates and leaders who are passionate about serving others! Working at the front desk places you at the heart of the hotel, with the most guest interaction. As the front desk supervisor, you will foster a cohesive team focused on delivering excellent guest service while maintaining brand and Concord standards. Role Responsibilities:

The Assistant Front Office Manager assists the Front Office Manager in ensuring the success of the front desk, guest satisfaction, and product quality standards. You will manage all hotel areas according to brand standards to create a friendly atmosphere of superior service and quality. Your performance sets an example for staff.

Essential Job Functions:
Guest Service
  • Assist in maintaining guest service as the hotel's core philosophy.
  • Respond promptly to guest needs, demonstrating a commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure all staff are trained in guest service standards and develop added value programs.
  • Empower staff to deliver responsive guest assistance and meet or exceed satisfaction measures.
  • Ensure hotel standards contribute to consistent guest service.
Front Desk Management
  • Act as manager on duty and assist in managing front desk operations.
  • Ensure staff are trained in all front desk procedures, including check-in/check-out, phone operations, amenities, and systems.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, and discipline.
  • Maintain financial controls and produce accurate reports.
  • Foster a positive work environment, emphasizing employee development and fair policies.
Safety and Security
  • Know and adhere to local health, safety, and security codes.
  • Identify and correct safety hazards and security issues.
  • Follow policies for key control and security procedures.
Operations
  • Engage staff in preventive maintenance and protect hotel interests during capital projects.

This role exemplifies leadership by example, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring staff follow policies and procedures. The ideal candidate is a LEAD BY EXAMPLE person.
