FiveStar is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to support the Food Service Manager in maintaining smooth, safe, and customer‑focused operations. You will help supervise staff, ensure adherence to health and sanitation standards, and uphold company policies in daily service.

This role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year food service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food service equipment.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Team player, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and excellent time management.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining continuous food service operations with focus on customer service.
• Partner with management to ensure FiveStar customer service in food service per policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with health and food safety regulations including sanitation, storage, temps, and expiration dates.
• Follow company policies on inventory, food quality, equipment maintenance, and production guides for food preparation.
• Assist with communications such as emails, promotions, and company programs.
• Support merchandising including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
• Promote company food service promotions.
• Collaborate with management to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
