Job summary

Buc-ee's is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to assist with all aspects of running a high-volume department in a fast-paced environment. You will supervise staff, manage food offerings, and ensure safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.

The role requires weekend/holiday work, rotating day/night schedules, and relocation might be needed. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5 years food service experience; strong MS Office skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Restaurant, retail or management experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel & Outlook)
• Bachelor degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of department operations
• Manage product offerings (Jerky, Smoked Meats, Sausage, BBQ, Bakery, Sandwiches, Grab and Go, Tacos, Burritos, Hot Dogs)
• Solve customer issues promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with food safety laws and internal standards
• Oversee equipment usage and daily operating reports
• Lead and develop employees; ensure attendance and scheduling
• Maintain safety rules and professional team interactions
