Job summary

Allegheny Country Club is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Server to provide fast, friendly dining service to members and guests. The role includes running food, maintaining cleanliness of dining rooms, and supporting service staff during shifts.

The successful candidate will attend pre-shift briefings, prepare setup for tables, and assist with various duties to ensure a smooth, high‑quality dining experience at the club. This is a on-site position requiring reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience preferred.
• Ability to work in fast-paced dining environment.
• Willingness to follow directions and collaborate with team.

Responsibilities

• Runs food and ensures cleanliness of dining rooms during service.
• Attends pre-shift meetings and obtains service area assignment.
• Keeps dining area and server station clean and presentable.
• Prepares water, bread basket and oil for tables 15 minutes prior to reservations or for walk-in tables.
• Carries trays of food from the line to the dining room and returns dirty dishes to dishwashing area.
• Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling items up to 35 pounds.
• Works independently and follows assigned directions.
