About Countryside Golf & Country Club

Countryside Golf & Country Club is a Member-owned, private, gated, master planned community located in Naples, Florida just minutes from Gulf Beaches and Downtown shopping. The club is well established with a 40-year history and has made over $30m in capital renovations and improvements since 2016.

The community and amenities are one entity as membership is bundled with the home purchase. Members enjoy an active – amenity rich lifestyle centered around golf, dining, wellness and fitness and racquet sports. In addition, the club offers a best in class resort pool complex.

In 2025, after a $15m+ two year renovation, the Club renopened its doors to members. The project in every sense, was a success and has set the standard for local clubs and communities looking to enhance their facilities. The clubhouse now provides members and their guests with multiple dining outlets, a full service, resort style pool, state of the art kitchen, meeting space, outdoor dining and "soft seating" areas. Four lighted Pickleball Courts were also added to complete the amenity offerings. The successful planning and execution of the renovation is largely due to the detailed, creative and direct communication throughout the conceptual study period and construction.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is a key leadership position that shares responsibility leading our extremely active and ever-evolving food & beverage operation. Countryside recently completed a $15m clubhouse renovation that has repositioned the community as "best in class" in our local area. Following a tremendous first season, we are looking for a dynamic and forward thinking leader to build upon our already strong foundation of service, creativity and high member support and satisfaction.

Our new clubhouse features three distinct dining venues which include traditional club / after-golf atmospheres to resort style / poolside dining to high-end semi-formal events and multicourse dinners.

Food & Beverage Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position works in conjunction with the food & beverage manager to supervise the front of house service team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management

• Assists in overseeing all food and beverage outlets including dining rooms, bar, events, and pool café
• Ensure smooth daily operations with a strong presence on the floor during service
• Maintain and enforce service standards consistent with club expectations
• Coordinate with the Executive Chef & Food & Beverage Manager to ensure seamless front- and back-of-house communication

Member Experience

• Build strong relationships with members and anticipate their needs
• Address and resolve member concerns promptly and professionally
• Promote a culture of hospitality, personalization, and attention to detail

Team Leadership & Development

• Train, supervise front-of-house team
• Lead by example, reinforcing service standards and professional appearance
• Conduct ongoing training
• Ensures preshift and end of service sidework is completed properly
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment

Financial Oversight

• Keeps inventory of all dining room items including silverware, glassware, S&Ps etc.
• Assists in compiliing monthly beverage inventory
• Monitors front of house labor and manages per scheduled hours

Events & Programming

• Collaborate on planning and execution of club events, tournaments, and social functions
• Serves as point person for member association functions and events
• Ensure all events are executed at a high level of service and organization
• Work with internal teams to enhance member engagement through dining experiences

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation standards
• Uphold club policies, procedures, and brand standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

This is an entry level management position with opportunity for growth. Supervisory or management experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food & beverage supervisory experience, preferably in a private club, resort, or upscale restaurant
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proven ability to manage teams and deliver high-level service experiences
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage programs preferred
• Experience with POS systems and inventory management
