Our venture capital client is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their family office!

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the family office and its related entities
• Oversee internal accounting practices, including expense reporting, invoicing, A/P, A/R, and reconciliations
• Coordinate complex consolidations of multiple legal entities, such as partnerships, trusts, and foundations
• Assist in treasury management, cash flow planning, and working capital optimization
• Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management procedures
• Collaborate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel on financial matters
• Provide financial analysis and insights to the CFO and executive team
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and applicable laws
• Support the CFO in managing relationships with banks, investment partners, and financial institutions
• Oversee financial systems and technology implementation and optimization
