Inspire-Cp seeks an Assistant Finance Director to assist the Senior Director of Finance in all financial operations and accounting functions. The role emphasizes accurate financial reporting, CFR reporting, and compliant transaction recording.

The position requires strong internal controls, monthly reporting oversight, and management of accounts payable, payroll, and month-end closings. Experience with CFR and nonprofit accounting is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
• Minimum of five years of experience in business accounting.
• Must possess extensive CFR knowledge and hands-on CFR experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and uphold internal controls and procedures for accounting transactions and budget preparation.
• Supervise the creation of monthly and other financial reports, ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Compile monthly financial reports and summaries for timely reporting to the Finance Committee.
• Oversee the accounting team, including accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Reconcile accounts, perform month-end closings, and maintain fixed asset schedules.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for auditing and tax reporting.
• Assist in CFR preparation for annual reporting and board presentations.
• Coordinate staff training and development plans for the accounting team.
• Support executive management with financial objective recommendations.
