Job summary

Shattuck St. Mary’s School in Faribault, Minnesota is seeking an energetic Assistant Figure Skating Coach to support the comprehensive figure skating program.

The candidate will assist in group and private lessons, competitions, and special events while fulfilling weekend and weeknight duties typical of a boarding school environment. The ideal applicant should possess a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of coaching experience, and knowledge of the IJS scoring system.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching private lessons and group instruction for a minimum of 2 years.
• Ability to coach basic skating skills through Senior level and LTS.
• Must be USFS member and pursuing ratings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in programming and promoting the figure skating program.
• Provide instruction for group and private lessons.
• Perform weeknight/weekend duties as required.
