Job summary

Shakopee Public Schools invites applications for an Assistant Boys Hockey coach. This 15-hour/week position supports the Boys Hockey program district-wide, reporting to the Head Coach.

Responsibilities include leading on-ice and off-ice training, assisting with practices and games for Varsity and JV, and performing duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Salary is stipend per Teacher Contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and educational experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a player and/or coach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the Boys Hockey program under the Head Coach.
• During practices will instruct, manage, and teach overall on ice and off ice training drills.
• During games will work with the Varsity and JV teams completing duties assigned by the Head Coach.
