Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Assistant Construction Manager to assist the Construction PM/PM with day-to-day management across multiple industries including aviation, commercial, energy, and water. You will help manage safety, quality, schedule, costs, contracts, and field activities on EPC projects.

Responsibilities include supporting risk reviews, developing execution and QA plans, coordinating procurement, and aiding with bids, RFIs, submittals, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, construction management, engineering, or a related field; 3 years of relevant construction experience required.
• Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day management of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and procurement.
• Collaborate with Project Management to build client relationships and interface on proposals and project items.
• Develop and implement Project Execution Plan, Quality Assurance Plan, Safety & Health Plan, and related plans.
• Support negotiation and execution of contracts, subcontracts, and change orders.
• Prepare project plans for site mobilization/demobilization and support field teams.
• Verify insurance, licenses, taxes, and securities per project requirements.
