Burns & McDonnell in Minneapolis/St. Paul is seeking an Assistant Construction Manager to support the Construction Project Manager and EPC Project Manager across diverse projects, from aviation to water.

You will help manage safety, quality, schedule, cost control, and field activities to execute EPC programs. Based in the Twin Cities, this full-time on-site role emphasizes collaboration with subcontractors, procurement, risk reviews, and project documentation, with opportunities to grow into

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction, construction management, engineering, or related field; 3 years of construction experience required.
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Construction Project Manager and EPC PM with day-to-day project management.
Support safety, quality, schedule, and cost control efforts.
Prepare and manage project documentation, RFPs, contracts, and change orders.
Coordinate permits, procurement, and subcontractor management.
Report project status and participate in audits and reviews.
