Job summary

Moog is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) to support the Facility Security Officer in a regulated environment. The role ensures compliance with NISPOM and government requirements for classified contracts, on-site at our East Aurora, NY location with 20% travel.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years in industrial security, plus a current TS clearance or ability to obtain one. Proficiency with Excel/Word/PowerPoint and government databases is expected.

• Current Top Secret (TS) security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• Ability and willingness to participate in continuing education opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the FSO in administering the company's National Industrial Security Program and maintain compliance with government and customer security requirements.
• Draft SOPs, Insider Threat Program Plan and related operating procedures for FSO review and approval.
• Conduct annual self-inspections for FSO review and approval.
• Participate in government audits.

Job Title: Assistant Facility Security Officer Reporting To: FSO Work Schedule: Onsite – Buffalo, NY

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is in search of an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO). As an AFSO, you will be working under the direction of the Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure compliance with U.S. Government regulations for classified contracts in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other regulatory directives. This role offers a first shift on-site schedule at our East Aurora, NY location. Relocation Assistance will be considered for qualified candidates.

As an Assistant Facility Security Officer, you will:

• Assist the FSO in administering the company's National Industrial Security Program and maintain compliance with government and customer security requirements.
• Draft SOPs, Insider Threat Program Plan and related operating procedures for FSO review and approval.
• Conduct annual self-inspections for FSO review and approval.
• Participate in government audits.
• Manage incident reporting and assist in investigations involving security incidents

Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $75,000.00–$125,000.00 Annually
