ISN Corporation is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer to support the Facility Security Officer in Bethesda, MD. The role focuses on administering the organization's security program and ensuring compliance with NISPOM and DCSA requirements, safeguarding personnel, facilities, information, and assets while promoting a culture of security awareness.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of related experience, hands-on onboarding of cleared staff, and familiarity with government

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of related work experience.
• 3 years minimum of experience with onboarding cleared staff.
• Experience with DISS, NBIS, NISS, and other government security systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience with DHS (Dept of Homeland Security).

Responsibilities

• Supports the Facility Security Officer in administering and maintaining the organization's security program.
• Ensures compliance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and other federal regulations governing classified information.
• Safeguards personnel, facilities, information, and assets and promotes security awareness.
• Must be in the Bethesda location 5 days a week.

ISN is looking to add a Full-Time Assistant Facility Security Officer to our Bethesda, Maryland office.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) supports the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in administering and maintaining the organization's industrial security program. The AFSO assists in ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements, and other applicable federal regulations governing classified information. This position helps safeguard personnel, facilities, information, and assets while promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. Must be in office 5 days a week in our Bethesda location.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years minimum of related work experience.
• 3 years minimum of experience with onboarding cleared staff.
• Experience with DISS, NBIS, NISS, and other government security systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
