Job summary

ISN Corporation in Bethesda, Maryland is seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer to support the Facility Security Officer in maintaining the organization's industrial security program. This role ensures compliance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and other federal regulations governing classified information.

You will safeguard personnel, facilities, information, and assets while fostering a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience onboarding cleared staff.
• Experience with DISS, NBIS, NISS, and other government security systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior experience with DHS (Dept of Homeland Security).

Responsibilities

• Support the Facility Security Officer in administering and maintaining the organization's industrial security program.
• Help ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and other federal regulations governing classified information.
• Safeguard personnel, facilities, information, and assets and promote security-awareness culture.
• Must be in office five days a week at Bethesda location.

ISN is looking to add a Full-Time Assistant Facility Security Officer to our Bethesda, Maryland office.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) supports the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in administering and maintaining the organization's industrial security program. The AFSO assists in ensuring compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements, and other applicable federal regulations governing classified information. This position helps safeguard personnel, facilities, information, and assets while promoting a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. Must be in office 5 days a week in our Bethesda location.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years minimum of related work experience.

3 years minimum of experience with onboarding cleared staff.

Experience with DISS, NBIS, NISS, and other government security systems.

Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Prior experience with DHS (Dept of Homeland Security).
