Job summary

Cadence Petroleum Group, DBA Davison Fuels, is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager for its fast-paced Mobile, Alabama warehouse. You will report to the Facility Manager and help deliver daily plans to meet operational goals while ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, coordinating routes, overseeing loading/unloading, maintaining inventory accuracy, and delivering strong customer service to suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing the warehouse associates, dispatch routes, and support delivery drivers
• Plan, monitor and execute schedules with Staffing to meet operational demands and business objectives
• Manage inbound and outbound loading and unloading of trucks while maintaining warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
• Maintain productivity, customer service and safety standards on a daily basis
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer programs
• Provide superior customer service and maintain professional and courteous relations with customers and suppliers
• Communicate with employees in areas such as: objectives, policies, procedures, safety methods, etc.
• Applies knowledge of customer schedules, delivery times, traffic volume and alternate routes to increase route efficiencies
• Has the ability to load and unload products according to size of load and content description
• Provides good customer service and maintains a professional manner and appearance to enhance the company's image
• Performs other related duties as assigned

The Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Reporting to the Facility Manager, this role is responsible for delivering and executing daily and short-term plans to achieve operational and business objectives.
