Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Assistant Facility General Manager to lead the wastewater treatment facility alongside the current General Manager. This role oversees operations, regulatory compliance, labor management, financial performance, and customer service to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant plant operations.

The position requires hands-on wastewater treatment experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to drive operational success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required or equivalent.
• 5+ years in plant operations supervision or management roles is required.
• 5 to 7 years of wastewater treatment experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wastewater facility operations to meet compliance standards and KPIs.
• Manage labor scheduling, overtime, hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
• Enforce Health & Safety protocols and SOPs across the facility.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Part B RCRA permit or equivalent.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, and procurement processes.
• Coordinate with Logistics to optimize outbound waste management and customer service.
