Job summary

Rising Star Corp is seeking an Assistant Facility Services Manager / QA and Safety Coordinator to support daily operations across multiple facilities. You will lead janitorial supervision, ensure service quality, and promote a safe work environment.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced setting, with travel between customer locations and evenings/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations, facilities management, or operations.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Teams or WTEAM is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests, questions, and complaints within a 2-4 hour response time.
• Conduct customer walk-throughs to evaluate service quality and address customer concerns.
• Develop and implement corrective action plans for ongoing service issues.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up.
• Pursue opportunities for additional contracts, special projects, and service expansions.
• Review, verify, and assist with employee payroll.
• Create and coordinate schedules for specialty floor care and other project work.
• Maintain equipment inventory and upload maintenance records into WTEAM.
• Update site log books annually and ensure documentation remains current.
• Monitor and approve supply orders while maintaining inventory levels.
• Assist with employee staffing by conducting phone screenings and onboarding documents.
