Assistant Facilities Manager
Under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, set of buildings, or campus environment. The role involves supporting the implementation of policies, procedures, and programs to ensure a well-managed and maintained building, with a focus on tenant concerns, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, aligned with the client's goals.
Education: Associate’s degree in facilities management, business, or related field required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in commercial or industrial real estate with facility management experience. Maintenance, construction, engineering, and property operations experience preferred. CMMS/Work Order experience is a plus.
Certifications & Skills: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or industry certifications recommended. Ability to read blueprints, understand management contracts, and operate building management systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems like Yardi.
This role operates in a professional office environment and may require travel between properties in varying weather conditions. Regular communication and exchange of information are necessary.
