Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support daily warehouse operations, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and service standards.

You will lead supervisors and hourly staff, monitor KPIs, collaborate with customer representatives, and implement process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and team development skills.
• Proficiency with WMS and inventory control systems; MS Office.
• Experience supporting automotive operations, including sequencing and JIT processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with OEM customers and customer-driven operations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, sequencing, pick and pack activities, and material flow support.
• Support staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to ensure customer and operational requirements are consistently met.
• Monitor productivity, quality, inventory accuracy, and safety performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly team members to drive engagement, accountability, and operational excellence.
• Partner with customer representatives to maintain service levels, address operational concerns, and support production requirements.
• Identify, develop, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and all safety and regulatory standards.
• Analyze operational data and performance trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing operational reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership.
• Support inventory accuracy initiatives and oversee adherence to warehouse management processes and procedures.

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience working with OEM customers and customer-driven operations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting high-volume warehousing or production support operations.
• Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.Experience leading cross-functional teams and customer-facing operational initiatives.
