Job summary

Nomad Global Communications Solutions seeks an Assistant Fabrication Lead to support the Fabrication Team Lead in daily operations. You will supervise a team of technicians, coordinate fabrication processes, and drive Lean improvements while upholding safety standards on the production floor.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in fabrication supervision, strong PC skills, and knowledge of E2 and MS Office. This full-time role emphasizes mentoring, performance tracking, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience at Nomad GCS preferred.
• 3-5 years in fabrication, manufacturing, or a related supervisory role.
• Strong PC skills and familiarity with E2, Microsoft Suite, etc.
• Demonstrated Lean methodology experience.
• Knowledge of production processes and safety protocols in manufacturing/fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of fabrication technicians.
• Support Team Lead in delegating tasks and meeting production targets.
• Train and prepare team members, including an Assistant Team Lead.
• Coordinate and oversee fabrication from components to finished products.
• Monitor workflow for timely and efficient production.
• Maintain tasks per Leader Standard Work (LSW) and quality control measures.
• Assist in inspections and audits to ensure specifications are met.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
