Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, is seeking an Assistant Eyeglass Manager in Smyrna, GA to lead the eyeglass department and support daily store operations. You will drive sales, supervision, and staff development while ensuring customer satisfaction and policy adherence.

You will collaborate with the General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office, oversee promotions and merchandising, and help forecast staffing needs to maintain a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervising
• Ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success
• Strong communication skills for effective management
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills for planning work
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals.
• Oversee eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Maintain commitment to outstanding customer service by all associates.
• Review quality standards, remakes, and enforce policies.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Ensure promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and CL Sales associates.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention of staff.
• Motivate team to exceed performance standards.
• In some locations, comply with licensing requirements as needed.
