Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks an Assistant Executive Steward at Mandalay Bay to oversee assigned kitchen operations and uphold service standards. You will supervise staff, drive efficiency, and ensure sanitization and safety in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in hiring, training, coaching, and giving performance feedback while maintaining cost controls and inventory. This role requires flexibility to cover various shifts and a commitment to guest excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 2+ years of experience in stewarding or administrative operations supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and include hiring recommendations.
• Ensure guest service is delivered per standards and brand attributes.
• Perform scheduling, training, coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary procedures in kitchen areas.
• Manage inventory and requisitioning of dinnerware, glassware, and supplies.
