MGM Resorts International seeks an Assistant Executive Housekeeper for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. In this leadership role, you will oversee housekeeping operations, inspire teams, and ensure guest rooms and public spaces meet world‑class standards that define Cosmopolitan.

Qualifications

• Two years of relevant experience, preferably in Housekeeping or EVS.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred.
• Experience leading union team members and working within a collective bargaining environment preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills; bilingual highly preferred.
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends.

• Respond to guest concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive resolution.
• Manage departmental performance, budgets, staffing levels, and accountability processes.
• Lead all Housekeeping HR functions: hiring, training, coaching, recognition, performance management, discipline, succession planning, and policy compliance.
• Mentor and develop Housekeeping Floor Managers; conduct daily room inspections for QA and sanitation.
• Partner with Scheduling Attendants to ensure timely bidding per policies.
• Represent management in unemployment hearings, union grievances, arbitrations, and other meetings as needed.

THE JOB:

Working in one of Las Vegas' premier luxury resorts, you'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards, and supporting a culture focused on service, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Respond to guest concerns in a professional and timely manner, ensuring positive resolution
• Manage departmental performance, budgets, staffing levels, and accountability processes to meet short- and long-term business objectives
• Lead all Housekeeping Human Resources functions, including hiring, training, coaching, recognition, performance management, discipline, succession planning, and compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and collective bargaining agreements
• Mentor, coach, and develop Housekeeping Floor Managers to support performance and advancement opportunities Conduct daily room inspections to ensure Housekeeping Floor Managers and Guest Room Attendants meet quality assurance and sanitation standards
• Partner with Scheduling Attendants to ensure bidding processes are completed in accordance with policies, procedures, and timelines
• Represent management in unemployment hearings, union grievances, arbitrations, and other meetings as needed

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Two (2) years of prior relevant experience, preferably in Housekeeping or EVS
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a luxury resort environment preferred
• Experience leading union team members and working within a collective bargaining environment preferred
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, bilingual highly preferred
• Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends
