Job summary

Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville is seeking an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest cleanliness and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations.

You will lead, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring daily operations run smoothly and meet quality standards. Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, with strong organizational and communication skills essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or resort housekeeping is required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage daily operations effectively.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.
• Supervise, support, and monitor housekeeping staff in their daily tasks, reporting any discrepancies to housekeeping management.
• Ensure all guest rooms and public spaces consistently meet and exceed the resort's cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Champion guest satisfaction by upholding product quality standards and responding promptly to guest needs.
• Lead onboarding and ongoing training efforts, ensuring all staff complete development plans and are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
• Foster a positive, collaborative work environment that supports strong communication between staff and management.
• Assist in scheduling, organizing, and coordinating day-to-day housekeeping operations.
