Job Title: Assistant Executive Housekeeper

Position Summary: The Assistant Executive Housekeeper works under the supervision of the Executive Housekeeper Manager. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, managing responsibilities outside guest rooms, and assisting the executive housekeeper.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate with the Executive Housekeeper to obtain lists of rooms to be cleaned and upcoming checkouts for work assignments.
  2. Assign duties to staff and inspect their work for quality standards.
  3. Clean guest rooms regularly with Room Attendants.
  4. Act as the Executive Housekeeper during their absence.
  5. Inventory cleaning supplies and linens, and manage supply issues.
  6. Maintain cleanliness of storage areas and stock carts.
  7. Address concerns regarding housekeeping services and equipment, providing feedback to management.
  8. Inspect rooms and public areas to identify repair or replacement needs, and recommend actions.
  9. Attend staff meetings as required.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude with staff.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in housekeeping within a large, multi-use facility.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during inspections.
  • Sitting, walking, and standing during shifts.
  • Light lifting for stocking supplies.
  • Ability to oversee and assist supervised employees.
  • Reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities.
