Job summary

Tru by Hilton Fayetteville NC seeks an Assistant Executive Housekeeper to support the Executive Housekeeper in supervising the housekeeping and laundry teams and ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards.

You will supervise room attendants, housemen, lobby attendants and inspectors, coordinate day-to-day operations, promote teamwork with other departments, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.

Description

The Assistant Executive Housekeeper assists the Executive Housekeeper in the supervision of the housekeeping and laundry department and is a key part of our housekeeping team. Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and coordinating activities of room attendants, housemen, lobby attendants and inspectors.
• Assists in the managing and directing of the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping and laundry functions.
• Promotes teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and team building skills.
• May assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods.
• Inspect all assigned rooms and public areas to ensure they meet guest expectations.
• In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper the Assistant Housekeeper will carry out the job duties of the Executive Housekeeper.
• Participates in and enforces quality assurance for Housekeeping Department and department cost control measures.
• The Ideal candidate should not mind cleaning rooms.

• Other duties as may be assigned by Management.

Must have the ability to manage people.

Bilingual is a plus.
