Mortenson in Nashville (Equipment Facility) seeks an Equipment Manager to lead the Equipment Facility team, oversee inventory, maintenance, budgeting, and rental contracts. You will coordinate with project teams, vendors, and the Equipment Solutions Group to optimize operations on site.

The role requires strong leadership, budget oversight, and a focus on safety and process improvements. Travel up to 25% is expected and sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in construction, equipment rental, and/or project management or 10+ years equivalent professional trade experience.
• 1+ year of direct team leadership and management experience.
• Knowledge of construction equipment and materials.
• Familiarity with basic maintenance/service schedules.
• Budget management.
• Effective communication both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize based on workload.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Valid US Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Experience with budget planning and financial oversight (preferred).

Equipment Manager - Nashville Op Group

Mortenson is currently seeking an Equipment Manager that will partner with other Equipment Solutions Managers to provide support and leadership within the Equipment Solutions Group. This position is located at our Equipment Facility in Nashville, TN.

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide overall leadership direction to the Equipment Facility and its team; including inventory control and maintenance of equipment, fleet, and small tools; coordination with jobsites, manage budget controls, purchasing, accurate and timely billings, and rental agreements for equipment. The base pay range for this role is $109,300 - $164,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
