Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an experienced Assistant Engineer II to join our I&C group in Florida, with office locations in Hollywood or Tampa. The role focuses on developing P&IDs, control diagrams, equipment layouts, and I&C specifications while coordinating with multiple disciplines and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Plant 3D and MS Office, strong communication skills, and 2–5 years in water/wastewater or industrial instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and/or Auto CAD Plant 3D software or be willing to learn.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Knowledge of water/wastewater or industrial process instrumentation and equipment is desirable.
• Prior working experience or internship in the water and wastewater industry is highly desirable.
• 2-5 years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Prepare Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), control system network diagrams, control panel wiring diagrams, equipment layouts, I&C system specifications, and installation details.
• Coordinate with the other disciplines (process/mechanical, structural, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and site civil).
• Inspect, test, and approve I&C work provided by contractors at water and wastewater facilities.

Hazen and Sawyer is seekingan experienced Assistant Engineer II in the Southeast Region to join our I&C group in one of our office locations in Florida: Hollywood or Tampa.

Key Responsibilities:
