Qualifications
DDE 4000 USCG license (minimum)
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, diesel propulsion and auxiliaries
Passport and TWIC required
Welding and carpentry skills preferred
Responsibilities
Operate all vessel machinery safely and efficiently under Chief Engineer
Perform preventive maintenance per schedule
Inventory, clean and organize tools, equipment, parts
Complete engine room logs and maintenance work orders
Maintain cleanliness of machinery spaces
Comply with Safety Management System
Comply with applicable regulations
Report unsafe conditions to supervisor and prevent accidents
Perform additional duties as assigned
