Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate all vessel machinery safely and efficiently under Chief Engineer
• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule
• Inventory, clean and organize tools, equipment, parts
• Complete engine room logs and maintenance work orders
• Maintain cleanliness of machinery spaces
• Comply with Safety Management System
• Comply with applicable regulations
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor and prevent accidents
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Ensures tools, equipment, parts, and supplies are inventoried, cleaned and organized
• Completes necessary paperwork (engine room logs, preventative maintenance work orders, supply orders, equipment lists, etc.)
• Maintains cleanliness of all machinery spaces
• Compliance with the Safety Management System
• Compliance with applicable regulations
• Reports unsafe conditions to your supervisor and take action to prevent accidents

Requirements

Licensing Requirements
