Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an Assistant Editor to support fast-paced news and premium content workflows. You’ll ingest, organize, and QC media across multi-camera projects, build edits, and deliver screeners while collaborating with producers on notes and credits.

The role requires familiarity with post-production tools, cloud-based workflows, and the ability to manage time in a breaking news environment, with strong communication and adaptability as core assets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of VDI and cloud-based workflows.
• Experience with post-production workflows, including QC and media management.
• Ability to troubleshoot time-sensitive technical issues in a breaking news environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit Prep & Edit Support for fast-paced news and programming.
• Ingest and organize media for shared servers and delivery.
• Manage multi-camera sync, stringouts, and radio cuts.
• Address producer notes and build credits, render and deliver screeners.
• Archive long-form projects via media management systems.
