Job summary
Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking an Assistant Editor (Temporary) based in New York for the CNN FlashDocs unit. The role involves managing asset ingest, metadata origination, and building projects for feature content with focus on popular culture.
The candidate will assist in finishing phases from prep to conform and delivery. The ideal applicant has 2+ years AE experience, fluency in Premiere Pro, and familiarity with post-production workflows, MAM systems, and multiple Adobe tools, thriving
Qualifications
- Fully fluent in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- 2+ years of AE experience.
- Experience working with a MAM in a post-production environment.
- Experience with metadata input and management.
- Experience with large sensor cinema cameras.
- Familiarity with Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects, PluralEyes, DaVinci Resolve, and post production workflows.
- Highly organized and self-sufficient.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

- Managing ingest of assets, applying valuable metadata and origination.
- Building projects; creating string outs and groups; and pulling music selects.
- Assisting in all the phases of finishing from prepping to conform and delivery.
