Responsibilities include organizing files in Premiere Pro, creating dailies and string-outs, licensing assets, and producing social-ready cuts while maintaining strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven Assistant Editor experience on documentary or narrative projects.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus).
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Google VEO or Runway.
• Experience with comedic content is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Sync and organize files in Premiere Pro.
• Create dailies and string-outs for next-day review.
• Source and license stock assets, replacing preview files as needed.
• Manage file handoffs with colorist, sound mixer, and compositor.
• Version cutdowns for social platforms (9x16, 4x5, 1x1) toward end of engagement.
• Pull stills for creative and production needs.
• Generate AI assets to support the edit workflow.
